This will be very short review of a Po' Boy sandwich that I had in July of 2021. From what I remember, the Debris sandwich was pretty good, for it had plenty of tasty roast beef along with lettuce and tomatoes within an authentic New Orleans-style bun. Good stuff overall, but unfortunately Parrish Grocery closed along with other restaurants (Local, Oshi, Agave Maria) within the Jeff Johnson Restaurant Group. Although I'm sorry to see it go, the space it occupied in Cooper-Young is now a Lebanese restaurant named La Rouche that so far has been great (continuing a tradition of excellence that other great restaurants like Jasmine and Elwood's Shells have shown at this Cooper-Young address). Maybe Parrish Grocery might re-emerge someday, but given the incompetence of the current ownership, it's not likely to come back.
